New Media Rights was a member of The Online Media Legal Network (OMLN) from January 2010 to June 2014 when the OMLN ended. It was hosted by Harvard University's Berkman Center for Internet and Society. New Media Rights was proud to be a member of The Online Media Legal Network and has assisted several people who were seeking help on their copyright and online publishing questions via the OMLN forum.
The Online Media Legal Network (OMLN) provided us a partnership with a network of lawyers, firms and law school clinics that offer pro-bono and reduced-fee legal services to online media creators and journalists who are seeking legal assistance on thier copyright and digital rights.
People from all over the country contact New Media Rights. At New Media Rights we offer legal assistance on Federal and California Intellecutual Property law. Each state has different laws, and The Online Media Legal Network was a great place to recommend people to, when they were looking for an attorney to help them better understand specific state laws. If you're interested in revitalizing and relaunching an OMLN style service let us know.
