Alexandra spent over a decade in the entertainment industry before transitioning to a career in law. She earned her B.A. from McGill University and is currently a JD candidate at California Western School of Law, where she serves as VP of Entertainment for the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and as an associate writer for the International Law Journal. Her legal interests center on artists' rights, copyright infringement protection, and safeguarding creative work against unlawful AI use.
Before law school, Alexandra advised ACTRA (Canada's national performers' union) during voice-over contract negotiations with Canadian producers, narrated the popular audiobook series The Others, and created and produced her own web series, Fresh Off the Plane. She looks forward to leveraging her industry background to help creators, particularly those with limited resources, navigate the legal frameworks governing their work while ensuring their projects comply with intellectual property law.
