Before law school, SJ spent over three years as a Marketing Manager and Journalist at Wine21.Com in Seoul, where he directed international marketing campaigns, negotiated vendor contracts, and published analytical articles on wine industry trends and trade policy. SJ also served as a Sergeant in the Korean Augmentation to the United States Army (KATUSA) with the U.S. Army's 2nd Infantry Division, working as a bilingual liaison between U.S. and Korean military units.
Now a JD candidate at California Western School of Law, SJ is drawn to intellectual property and international law. His trilingual background in Korean, English, and Mandarin Chinese, combined with his experience navigating international regulations, fuels his interest in helping creators and entrepreneurs protect their work at New Media Rights.
