Kyle is an intellectual property and licensing attorney working in the San Diego State University Foundation’s technology transfer office. He is a regular contributor to Columbia University’s Global Freedom of Expression project. Kyle received a degree in mechanical engineering at Ohio State University before attending California Western School of Law. At CWSL, he interned at New Media Rights; served as an associate editor for California Western Law Review and International Journal; externed for the Honorable Karen Crawford at the United States District Court, Southern District of California; and studied patent prosecution during an internship at SPAWAR, the Navy’s patent division of general counsel. He graduated from CWSL in 2015. He has been published in the California Western Law Review, and has an article forthcoming in Capital Law Review in the summer of 2015. Kyle greatly respects the work performed by New Media Rights’ clients, and is thrilled to continue helping New Media Rights have positive impacts in the legal, internet, and San Diego tech communities.
