As we've written about before there's a major justice gap when it comes to creators and entrepreneurs having access to critical legal services. While we do our best to provide free and low cost legal services, we’re only one organization. We’ve put together this national list of Arts and IP Volunteer Lawyer Organizations as a resource to creators, entrepreneurs, and even other lawyers to help find other legal organizations fighting to fill the justice gap.
This list only has volunteer lawyer groups, legal aide organizations, and other non-law school related associations or organizations. These types of organizations are typically comprised of licensed attorneys who volunteer on a free or low cost basis to assist members of the public in certain areas of the law if they meet certain income qualifications.
Another great option to find pro bono or low cost services is to reach out to a law school clinic. Clinics will provide legal services through law students overseen by experienced practitioners. Visit our separate list of Law School IP and Entrepreneurship Clinics.
