Wikileaks.org shutdown by California court; how a webhost can hijack your url

Wikileaks.org, a site dedicated to providing an open forum for whistleblowers to expose corporate and government misdeeds, has been shut down in its entirety by a U.S. federal district court in San Francisco. This is really a "New Media Wrong."

A citizen's legal guide to fair use in copyright law

Fair use allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as use for scholarship or review. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author's work and is based on free speech rights. Learn more.
